Why?
M198 155mm Howitzer . The US Army's medium towed howitzer. . Towed Position There was a lot of sweat and tears put in to how to make the legs connect to the body while also allowing the platform to swivel and for the wheels to be accurately represented. Rear Detail Close up of the detail on the back. There was no way on the scale that I was working at to fit in a tow point to both of the "arms". The Breech From the previous picture you can see where this should fit. I've tested the connection with my own collection of bricks and it seems to work. The Business End Also note the sweet lattice work for the turret stand/prop. Any corrections to misnaming or suggestions to how to make this look better are welcome. I am also hoping to make the prime-mover for this too...
