Republic Avenger Fighter . Please Rate and Comment. One of the few clone war era star fighters with shielding and a hyperdrive system. Technology from this star fighter was later captured and used by the Rebellion. . The Republic Avenger is a two man star fighter assisted by an astromech driod unit. Heavily armoured and equipped with two laser cannons and two ion connons, this star fighter also boasts a wide array of features that made it feared by the seperatists. On the bottom you can see the left side of the Avenger fighter, here you can see one laser cannon and one ion cannon. The Avenger also houses eight missles, four on each side right before the wings start underneath the second cockpit. The Avenger also houses one the first star fighter built in hyperdrive system in the galaxy. Each engine is also capable individual thrust vectoring allowing for a faster turning rate.
