Motorized Mech . This Mech has 4 motorized functions - top half turns side to side, flashing lights in the forward gun barrels simulate laser fire, missle doors open & close, and fire 6 missles (2 at a time). Non motorized functions include: cockpit opens, sliding doors on top reveal vertical launch missles that can be raised to simulate pre launch. . This mech is about 16 inches tall and is REALLY heavy. It has 2 mini-fig pilots and I used storm troopers because they are just plain cool. This one was a hard build that I thought about scraping several times. Anyone who has attempted the hybrid of LEGO & Technic LEGO could understand my frustation in trying to make all those motor functions work. If the YouTube video does not play, click here: YouTube Motorized Mech In this picture, my finger is on the lever that raises the vertical launch missles. There are 2 levers, side by side, so the missles can be manually raised separately or together. Here are some early shots as I was starting to build. I actually changed some things around with the way the motor works for the torso. I finally eliminated all those mess of gears after several attempts of trying to attain the right speed settings for the torso to move back & forth.
