Blast in the Past . . My entry for Squire's Vignette Contest: Heroic/Villainous Feats. A medieval scientist experiments with flight by strapping a barrel full of chemicals on his back. Before he can go outside to test it, the barrel explodes because of a nearby torch. He flies up and out into his tower. Up through the floorboards, and out through the window. (which neither are meant to fly through) His wife, out caring for her garden, attempts to get hold of her husband and pull him to safety. Pics. of the MOC: Pics. of the action: Pics. of the roof and the underground laboratory: Pics. of how I did the tower and made it fit: This was actually a last minute change for the contest. Thankfully it just barely counts as a vignette, 12x16.
