Why?
Desert Eagle version 2 . A Magnum Research Desert Eagle pistol which fires elastic bands. . The original idea for this pistol was that it would fire several elastic bands in semi-automatic, using two rotating prongs to hold them, similar to the way my old guns worked. I had hoped that I could attach the front piece which held the elastic bands to the slide, and it would slide back with it making reloading much easier. Unfortunately I couldn't make it strong enough to work, so the elastic bands ended up having to be hooked around the front of the gun. It then turned out that the gun could only fire two shots; any more and it exploded. It's just too difficult to make a pistol which has a slide mechanism without it being weak. Brickshelf gallery here . PS. I've been inundated with requests for instructions recently. Sorry, but not only do I not have time to make instructions, but also the models have usually been dismantled by the time people ask.
