Revelation Assembly 05: Dai Nova Zero [Phong-Style] . Man I'm building quickly lately! This mecha took about 5 hours to complete. [I was searching for a 4th wheelhub for like an hour, but then I looked at my box and realized I only had 3!! I was pretty annoyed. Why is it that I always have an odd number of the right part!?] This mecha was built with EXTREMELY limited parts supply, so I had to put more blue parts in, but I think it turned out O.K. . The background to Dai Nova's construction Phong-Style isn't only made for jagged mechas. It can be used to make round mechas too. This mecha is again 100% Phong-Style other than the Izzo-Style elbow and knee joints. I also decided to take apart the Shin Ganmen for its gun. I like the unique design I gave to this mecha. It's got greebly joint areas as well as the abdomin while still keeping stylish armor. [Stylish?! For lack of a better word.] I also decided to make downward facing knee pads for a change. More underarmor is shown too. I like how I kept the feet simple yet effective. The goal was to make them look sorta like socks because I thought it was a new idea and looked cool. This mecha's frame was made up of much of the Bayonet's frame. The color placement was designed in a slightly new way: The blay is the underarmor, the gray is the joints/greebles, the white is the overall base color for the outer armor, and the blue/trans-blue are the accents/glowy parts. Story The Dai Nova is another God-sent mecha used by the Salvation's pilot's brother. He too can control time and space in the same way as the his bro. The mechas are used to magnify those powers to a divine level, and can only be piloted by their chosen person unless under certain circumstance. They become somewhat "part" of the pilots. This mecha May not be as strong as the Salvation with it's melee, but it's much faster! It also has a gun arm to replace the left arm. While the Crossfire blast may not have as wide a blast radius as the Salvation's Divine Spirit blast, the Crossfire shoots so rapidly that it can give the illusion of being a virtually limitless-lengthed blade! The attack is also much more focused than Divine Spirit, so it can do much more damage to it's immediate target rather than the whole area it's being fired in. [unlike how the highly charged Divine Spirit blast damaged the Revelation and destroed the alternate universe he was fighting in.] Well enjoy the mecha! IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZUH!!! How the Dai Nova takes out a large group of enemies....the cool way! First he kicks one enemy into it's ally..... .... then, as he lands he launches his Crossfire attack at that enemy..... ...then gets low to the ground and ready to spin..... ...then busts out multiple spot on accurate shots while spinning on one hand!!! ....and finally finishes off his last opponent with a good laugh by striking them with his funny bone! How Dai Nova FIRES HIS LAZUH!!!![Crossfire] Loads his gun... Aims...and blows his load! (That's what she said! LOL!) The attack is called Crossfire. Get it! I kill me! Lets the smoke from his gun clear in a heroic fasion. Oooh, new head design! (I've been itching to use that lever base as a visor.) WOOT!!! One armed handstand again!!! (This was done on a wobbly matress, so that shows insane stability!) SLight close-up on the mechas arm: Close-up on hand: The views: Group shot. The Bayonet was dissassembled yesterday to make this. I am too lazy to post this mecha's frame, so I'll post the Bayonet's frame due to the simlarities. It should give you a good idea of how the Dai Nova is built. [These pics were taken during the Bayonet's dissasembly.]
