MOCcomparison Spacecraft . "Gung Ho you let guard down you're nothing but a ride-out...I'll leave you raining on your own parade." . Another title for this could be "One of the most challenging builds on the face of the planet". Chas Irish came up with this brilliant idea of two builders looking at a picture and building what they see there. The end result should be each of the builders build what they see in their own unique way, while still building the same exact thing. Yeah I know. Pure genius. This one is with the originator of it all, Chas himself. See his here. You can see the original picture here. What a crazy design! I actually love the ship, but the rounded, bubble-like shape is unspeakably hard to develop into a Lego creation. As you can see I did a poor job molding behind the cockpit, the tail fin, and the engine in the back. So feel free to critique, but I've probably already considered everything already. =) I think it turned out OK though. Definitely a different design! Don't you love those long, rounded slopes? I had to buy three clones wars sets to get 'em...but it turned out right in the end. I sold the figs on Craigslist. Can you believe that I have around 50 clones and Stormtroopers? Yeah. I know. Too bad I have no desire whatsoever to use them. If you want to compare your building style with someone join this group!
