Why?
STAR Corp. - Military Vehicles - X1 "Surf-Sweeper" Recon-Assault Cruiser . This is my virtual LEGO rendition of the STAR Corp. X1 "Surf-Sweeper" Recon-Assault Cruiser. . This is my virtual LEGO rendition of the STAR Corp. X1 "Surf-Sweeper" Recon-Assault Cruiser. The cruiser comes equipped with next-generation SATCOM technology, allowing it to remain in constant communication with mission command. The propulsion system utilizes a state-of-the-art ion-repulsor array, giving the cruiser the ability to hover a few inches above the surface. A powerful multi-target-tracking software suite integrates with the HUD (Heads-Up Display) of the operator, allowing the cruiser’s pilot to engage and neutralize multiple targets simultaneously. The cruiser comes equipped with 2 Gatling-type medium rotary cannons for engaging surface targets, as well as 2 multi-role missiles for engaging either airborne threats or more resilient targets on the surface. *DESIGN NOTES* The basis for this MOC came from the Alpha Team Cruiser. * This is MOC a product of STAR Corp. The STAR Corps. Security Forces make some use of this vehicle for guarding convoys, but it is government-run militaries that are the main consumer audience of the cruiser. * As usual, the program I used to build this is LeoCAD. I then converted it to an .ldr file and rendered it with LDView. For info on contacting me about permission to use the design or obtaining a copy of the 3D file I made, see my homepage.
