Rohr Turboliner RTL 2 . The Turbos underwent a retrofit in the mid 90's, getting a face lift and more powerful engines. They cars were also modified to resemble the one-per-end door configuration of the Amfleet II rolling stock. The decals were made on my Laserjet with Avery clear labels and are accurate to the markings on the actual derelict Turbo on a siding near where I live . Exterior shot of the locomotive. There was one of these at each end of the consist. The front half was a cab/power unit, while the rear housed the first class accommodations. First class seating, custom built with cushy reclining seats! I have no idea what an actual engine in one of these looked like, but this seemed like a good fit with the turbine power. The other locomotive contains a rechargeable battery pack, IR sensor, and motor, all from the power functions family. Exterior shot of the cafe car. Each consist usually had one of these. The "kitchen" area of the cafe car. It includes a bar, sink, and wall oven, as well as tables and seating. Exterior shot of a coach. There were two standard coaches per train, but cost factors and overall length of the train (48") have limited me to one. The interior of the coach with regular LEGO seats.
