"Freedom!" . ... . BrickCON 09 was great! I had so much fun looking at different people's exhibits and meeting people like Lee Jones, Alex Eylar, David Luna, Andrew Becraft, Jordan Schwartz and others, but when it came time to check out the "Brick-Bazaar" that was another story completely! The many booths of sellers with their products or resale were jam-packed with LEGO enthusiasts trying to purchase things some people can't get on average, the atmosphere was down-right hectic! A company called "BrickArms" has been around for a few years, selling weapons that are compatible with LEGO bricks, feel like they almost are LEGO bricks and add an interesting amount of detail to the creations you use them in, they have an online store that can be found HERE. The BrickArms crew set up shop in the BrickCON09 Brick-Bazaar and sold their normal wares, but even better, it turns out they were handing out some prototypes. And for me, all it took was questioning "Enigma That Is Badger" about the new "William Wallace Claymores" and he handed me two, free of charge! Two new prototypes, mainly unavailable to the public, mine, and for low price of spreading BrickArms name around! WOW! I have to say, I would have been speechless if I hadn't been trying to also purchase a limited edition "Chrome - Blade pack"! SO, now that I am done rambling on, please enjoy this small scene dedicated to show off William's blade... heh... This scene could easily be referred to as "BrickArms VS LEGO weapons"... My brother was the one who thought I should put a second "Scott" in this scene. "William Wallace wasn't the only one who fought Brittish guys, you know." he told me... So I gave this one my favorite sword from the chrome sword pack... The Scottish warriors... With a rubber-band rapped around his torso, a neat bandoleer and belt fasten his sword securely to William's back... My prototype BrickArms "Claymores", my favorite of BrickArms' products! My Cutlass-Crocodile mini-figure, is definitely happy with this new addition to his armory... Like I have said continually, the Chrome broad-sword, and the two William Wallace "Claymores" are products from BrickArms if you choose to head over there, do tell them Cutlass-Crocodile recommended them!
