HMS Pegchester (AKA The Box) . HMS Pegchester is a British Transporter foundly know as 'The Box' by the troops. Built in the early 2100's, during the first stages of World War III. . The ship has two hanger decks and can carry upto six hover tanks on the lower deck and two APV vechiles on the upper deck. Original designed to carry mechas, which soon lost there edge in battle and were no longer used. This unfortunaley lead to a high lower hanger deck. Below the hanger deck runs the service core, which has the air handling unit towards the rear. The ship has six decks for personel serviced by the lift towards the rear. The lower decks have hosuing for the flight deck staff and the marines live on the third deck which directly leads onto the second hanger deck. The fifth deck houses the flight controls and canteen, with the mess room right at the top. The ship has four engines, two to the side give directional thrust and are accessed from the fifth deck. As a transporter it dosen't come with heavy weapons but has a few light missile launches on top (The black has been crafted by the son of one of my friends). Thanks to all your comments on my previous posting, I drew a line on completing the interior. The comments were most helpful and I'm glad that I pushed on to complete the exterior. The model is built in sections, with five units for the lower hanger deck (Green, red, green, red, green). I lost the plot at the top because of the shape I originally designed for the overhanging flight deck and engines. I belive this would be classified as a SHIP being over 150 studs long (its approximatly 1500mm long and 750mm high). I have learnt alot about building a model on this scale, mostly that I need to do alot more planning. If anyone else other tipes please let me know. Thanks for looking, James
