'Gemini' Class Shadow Mechs (AKA Mechsperiment in Black) . It feels like forever since I've built a mech, so for this post, I decided to make four. The two in each pair are completely identical and 100% black. Enjoy! . The 'Gemini' class shadow mech is a highly advanced walker whose biggest advantage is that it always travels in pairs. Their dark coloring and near-silent footfalls make them difficult to detect, and if you are lucky (or unlucky, as the case may be) enough to glimpse one, it probably means the other is sneaking up behind you. Side views Cockpit view Roof armament closeup Back view Leg closeup. I'm very pleased with how they look from the front, the side is a little narrow though. Interior. Sometimes 'Gemini' mechs are accompanied by the smaller 'Gemin-aid' drones that can provide distractions, extra firepower, or go places that the 'Gemini' mechs can't go. The only part of the mechs that aren't completely black or completely identical is the winches. One has a grappling hook, and the other one a crane-style hook. These hooks can be used for a variety of purposes. They can repel down a cliff face, tangle up an adversary, use your imagination. Thanks for viewing, let me know what you think!
