Why?
Operation: Crosshair . During Operation: Broad-front, the TPC surprised the COP in a vast and far-reaching push across several sectors to celebrate the New Year. Operation Crosshair was an attempt by the TPC to seize a formerly industrialized planet to use as a toe-hold and forward industrial center for an eventual push into COP space. The planet had been wiped out of its indigenous population by some unknown contagion, leaving vast factories and other facilities intact and ripe for the picking. The COP was there to try to find out what killed everyone, and see if they could weaponize it. This had to stop. . Oh, I'm having a good day... The COP position is defended by a General Utility Truck (GUT) effective against infantry, not so much against towering hulks that resemble more landmass than tank. This is the Demolisher, a new toy that is a derivative of the Devastator Siege Tank . "Big Scoop" as it is sometimes called, is efficient at clearing barricades and general enemy demoralization. Hey, if you saw a tank that big, you loose it too. Made from folded Berillyian, the Big-S is actually a little more survivable than the Devastator is, and certainly more sleek. However, nothing quite matches the Devastator's firepower. Uh, got news for you pal. It ain't your binoculars making that tank as big as it is... I like that shell-crater detail, especially the fallen power lines. That Demolisher should be careful, there's a mine that could rip out a few treads. What better place to hide an explosive than in a shell-crater, right? All hail the Emperor's glorious dead!
