"Young Grasshopper" Battleship (YGB) . "Young Grasshopper"Battleship This is my entry for the 18th Deep Space Fleet's Warship contest. My biggest nanoscale ship I have ever made! (so far) I am very proud of this ship, as I think it is my best yet. After reading about the contest the day it was posted, I started building. And one day later, the Young Grassshopper was born! Please tell me what you think! . Dead on shot of the "Young Grasshopper" Here is the communications array, and also a little embelishment. And yes, I do know that is a lego frog. But for my purposes it is a Grasshopper! Here is the side of the ship. You can see one of the heavy turrets (1 of 4) and also one of the missile tube placements (1 of 2, each holding 4 heavy ship-to-ship missiles) And the other side, toawrds the back. Here you can see another heavy turret and part of the other missile tube emplacement. Also note the small hanger, directly underneath the bridge. This hanger runs half the ship on the inside, and carries enough fighters to be classified as a medium carrier. These fighters are mainly for defense of the ship, and also landing parties. Here is the main bridge of the ship, along with 2 heavy batterys and 2 medium batterys. Another shot of the bridge and its weapon systems. The big ol' thruster. T had the hardest time figuring out an engine system that could fit. But this ended up being the best. also you can see the 2 other medium batterys And here is the belly of the beast with 2 heavy bombardment cannons. Also. I forgot to take a picture of just the foreward heavy canon. But anyways, you can see it in the main picture... cuz who says we cant have big guns of our own!? Stats: Name: Young Grasshopper Weapons: 2 Heavy batterys, 6 medium batterys,2 Small batterys, 14 anti-aircraft gun emplacements, 2 missile emplacements, 4 heavy turrets, 2 Heavy bombardment cannons, and last but not least, the heavy foreward facing main cannon. Measurments: 1 foot long, 3 inches at widest (missile emplacements) Engine: Classified Armour: Extremely classified Well I hope you enjoyed my Young Grasshopper Battleship! Please rate and comment
