Expanded Avatar Battle Scene . This is basically an expansion of my Avatar Battle Vignette. To get it ready for our AFOL group's display at the Ala Moana Lego Store in Honolulu, I widened both left and right sides by half a base plate to fit the display. I also added a floating rock waterfall and another AMP Suit & Navi in the lower left fire battle. . Detail of the fire battle with flame thrower and Navi leaping up above the AMP Suit ready with knife in hand. Here you can see some of the hidden supports for the Ikran and the floating rock. Since I wanted to make sure nothing would fall during the month of display, I secured these elements with extra supports underneath, the Samson too. You can only see the supports if you are looking from the side or below. But the display can only be viewed from the front. So that made it easy. Detail of the floating rock waterfall spilling through jungle down into the waterfall below. Here's a few taken during installation at the Ala Moana Lego Store's Community Display. You can see how it looks better in this wider version for the display box. It was also cool to spend some more time on it.
