Why?
Legolympics Round 2: Jelle Heijne VS. Louis K. Invasion of Normandy . June 6th 1944. The Western allies have started their invasion on the Normandy coast. This is one of the first Higgins boats to reach this armed peninsula in Normandy. . We decided to go for the military diorama. I first wanted to build something minifig scale, but I didn't have any military minifigs. So I went for something between minifig- and microscale. My opponent's home page The higgins boat reaches the coast and faces a German blockade. The German bunker. Blockades in the ocean, to stop the allied ships. One of the German soldiers. He has got a rocket launcher to sink approaching ships. The other soldiers are situated in the bunker at the heavy machine guns. Another view of the bunker. The bunker entrance. From the sky, the bunker looks just like a big chunk of rock.
