The Castle of Thu Xengi . On a big gray baseplate, containing 28 minifigs, this is my biggest creation so far!!! This is the castle of Thu-Xengi from my Chinese Lego Castle expansion. Sorry for the blurry photos, I had to make photos without a tripod. . Tune in some cool music!
This castle is located next to a cliff. It is located behind the city of Thu-Xengi. The population of Thu-Xengi is human, but they're oriental - all of the people are chinese-like. Their colours are: brown and dark red. They are allied with the humans, and are enemies of the orcs and the Brotherhood of the Black Dragon.
The main gate. I like how the chinese feel went out. Well, I was kinda inspired by the game "The Stronghold" to make this.
There is a spiky plant jungle next to it, so if enemies attack, they have to keep on the road.
On the sides there are rocks.
On the back there is a cliff, so enemies can't attack from the rear unless they have a flying unit.
The gate opens, showing the main part.
There are two archers on the palissade.
The entire main part.
The "industrial" section.
The food part.
A Chinese Stew with rice and tofu!
Milk for making tofu.
They even have their own small rice plantation!
A melon tree and orange melons. They have their own food sources, but when they're under siege, these aren't enough. They still survive, through. Impossible? I'll explain it later.
The cook, Baron Blupi (My Runescape character, lvl.49 cooking)
I've even made a decal for his hair.
An unarmoured ninja.
The workshop. The carpenter here makes arrows and repairs weapons.
He is making arrows from a stick.
My version of an anvil.
The war section.
Ah, I almost forgot the stairs leading to the archers' towers.
The main soldiers of the Thu-Xengi army. They wear light armours and fight using small swords. The Thu-Xengi army is based on speed, but isn't armoured very well. They also make great war machines.
Side view of the soldiers.
The knights. They works just like the horseless ones in "The Stronghold". They're slow but hit really, really hard.
The main general (except the Shogun), an armoured Red Samurai.
This guy here...
...is pushing the Pickaxexator! It is an extremely deadly war machine which can easily take out an army of 6 orcs! The engineer pushes it, and when it speeds up, he grabs the stick on the back and steers it by putting one of his feet on the ground - the machine turns then. When it speeds up, the pickaxes rotate at an extreme speed, so when it hits an army, you know what. It really works, I'll show a video at the end.
The second, smaller part.
The second gate, which is almost as resistant as the walls.
There are archers on the two towers.
They musn't be afraid of heights!
-Waah! No studs!
The gate opens when you pull the chain.
Overall view of the rear part.
The scythers, an original unit. They are really fast, since they've got no armour and hit really, really, really hard with their scyther, so they're sent out against big infantry groups when the enemy's got no archers.
The mage "freezing" magic fire for the Flying Ship. I'll explain later.
This engineer controls the flamethrower.
The flamethrower. It is very slow and heavy.
When you pull the stick out, this thingy jumps out. The flamethrower doesn't work like an ordinary one - it throws out burning orbs to inflame the enemies instead of just fire.
A little lizard used to pull the flamethrower.
The gates open so it can get out.
His legs bend in two places.
Isn't he cute? :)
He has got a barrel of water and a manger for food.
The main tower. Forgot to turn this pic X/
The stairs lead only to the first part...
The daughter of the Shogun.
To get to the higher layers, you have to climb the rope.
Guess who? :)
The Shogun. He is the leader of the entire Thu-Xengi fraction. He is a very good fighter himslef, despite he's old.
And it's a comfy throne!
A really powerful war machine, the quick-fire hot iron bolt ballista.
The guy controlling it.
To fire, you have to push a bolt and rotate.
I like the chinese feel of this roof.
And now, the moment you've all been waiting for...
...THE FLYING SHIP!!! The most powerful portable war machine made by people of Thu-Xengi. This is a small one, through. The castle has got special sticks for "parking" Flying Ships in the rear.
The guy responsible for the frozen fire hearths.
Another hearth. The frozen fire is needed to run the ship - the guy throws it into the furnaces and activates it. This frozen fire is magical (like the blue fire in RuneScape), so it's very powerful. The steam generated by it is transported to the aeolipiles which rotate the propellers. There are two bottom ones and one small, back one used to make it go forward and turn. The ship's made of cardboard and balsa wood, anyway, so it's really light. No crew member is wearing a shield. Yes, the ship is really weak against dragons.
The frozen fire supply.
The pilot and the gun.
There really wasn't place for a war machine, so let's say it's a rubber band-based cannon ;)
The pilot. The yoke doesn't rotate the rear propeller - it just shows flags for the guy under the deck to rotate it.
Two red ninjas.
They glow... O_o
The pipes and aeolipiles.
Side view. The ships supply food to the castle - that's how they manage to survive during siege.
How the mighty Pickaxexator works:
Please rate and comment, because if THIS goes by unnoticed,
MY HEAD WILL EXPLODE!!!
