Technic Sports Off Roader . This is 'Tiger' (don't ask me about the name, my little bro made it up) the final product of my prototype jeep which was created for the medium category in For the Love of Cars Contest 2. And it turned out pretty well. It's got larger wheels, which affect the suspension, but not by much. The larger wheels also raise the axle a bit. The entire car has been widened for more stability, and to hold the car together, unlike the prototype which kept breaking and bending with every touch, this also affects the suspension. But it still is more impressive and overall better than the prototype. . Here are some pics of the off road suspension. The pictures prove that the jeep can be used to defeat robots... A close up of the steering system, based on the Technic 8261 set. This edition has limited transparent lime green rear disc brakes. A picture of the rear. It has a wrench in the front without any rope or hook. And the front bull bar (by the way it has two sets of bull bars) turn into a shovel. Innovative, if I do say so myself. The two cylinder engine, same as the prototype, except for two turbos on the sides. Here it is opened up, it's still not connected to anything. And now to correct the problem of the old prototype - With the off road suspension the car leaned on to the side like so. But push the spoiler in front... The "suspension rods" as I call them fall down. You push them on to the axle and the car becomes straight. Then push the spoiler back again. And you have the sports suspension activated! So now the car can corner at high speed without leaning! But it doensn't end there. Here is a side view of the jeep... ...step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4... ...and you have the worlds fastest folding convertible roof - 5 seconds dead. And we have the interior. Very basic for such a car, but who cares? Now to get rid of all these props, uh, I mean robots. Engine: 1.8L 2 cylinder twin turbo Power: 170bhp @ 6,000rpm Torque: 260nm @ 7,500rpm 0-100km: 7.4secs Top Speed: 270kph
