BMS-7N Brimstone-7 Nightmare Mech . Now taking the stage, the BMS-7N bio-mech is crafted around the premise that its appearance alone strikes terror on the battlefield. This monstrosity was intended for one purpose, the frontal assault. Thanks to its unique defensive features, which will be discussed below, itís quite literally the mech that just wonít die no matter how many times you shoot at it! It can sneak around like any other wily backstabber but it excels at drawing the enemies attention. In other words, this bloodthirsty dispenser of carnage needs a pilot with a death-wish mentality in order to bring out its fullest potential. . Front Right Back Left Its primary long ranged weapon is the right-hand mounted particle projectile cannon. A couple of hits from this baby are usually all it takes to drop most light to medium classed opponents. Each shoulder also carries one extended-range medium caliber laser cannon to supplement its long distance attacks. The left hand sprouts four small lasers for in close fighting positioned around its twin pronged vibro-claw. A tactic loved by this mech is to impale its prey and then blow holes at point blank range right through the victim just like the Archangel. Additional vibro-blades are connected to each foot for additional lethality in melee combat. It also carries the same rocket launchers on its legs that it shares with most of its elder brothers. The unique defensive feature of this mech can be seen in the tri-forked tail. This appendage is actually a thermal dispersal unit. A modified heat sink, it collects the excess heat generated from the guns via the reinforced thermo couplers attached to each weapon and then creates an intensive distortion field around the mech. The field creates ghost images to appear on enemiesí sensors which in turn cause one out of every three attacks of any type (melee, missile, cannon, laser, etc.) to fail that would have normally hit their mark. Even heat seeking weaponry fails to recognize the BMS-7N while the field is active. The device can even utilize the heat generated from blazing structure or wildfires to produce the field so long as the temperature is high enough. Up-close shot showing the cockpit fully sealed. The twin side panels open laterally. The primary hatch lowers revealing the pilot. Here we see the cockpit after the pilot had disembarked. The interface is built directly the lowered primary canopy. Posterity shot of our hot-shot pilot and his simply too hot to handle mech!
