8061 Alternate: Giant Clam Trap! . . With the invasion of those pesky surface dwellers it was high-time the Atlantians fought back. Behold this diabolical, jewel-encrusted, giant clam trap! Soon those divers will be imprisoned, marinated and EATEN! I thought there was heaps of potential for alts from this set-lots of interesting parts and the addition of rubber bands, something kinetic seemed in order, thus this idea was born. As far as alts go, the spring-loaded clam is rather ugly and a little tricky to build, not the best for little kiddie hands. Oh well, maybe it could count as a "Spring Fling" entry, who knows...? Ah, an unsuspecting diver approaches... "Oh wow! A huge ruby! I'm rich!!" Just a gentle tug in this baby here and...WHAM!! Squid dude licks his lips. speaking of which, IS THIS NOT THE COOLEST FIG EVA?!?!1!?11 Thanks for watching guys!
