Why?
2007 Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé feat. Louis . I'm givin' Firas a run for his money! . Hello MOCers! And no, I'm sorry to say that this creation is not retaliation to Firas Abu-Jaber's latest model. I built mine before he posted his... Anyways, today's 4-wide features a very special guest: Louis the Minifigure! Louis was kind enough to lend me his car for a photoshoot, but he insisted that he be in a few of the shots. So, kick back and enjoy! Front angle. Notice the extravagant chrome grille and the stainless-steel hood. Side view. I couldn't really find a window-piece that was suit for this car. Ideally, I'd shave off the stud of window behind top of the windshield, but cutting elements is a path to the dark side... Rear view. I wanted the rump of this car to "shrink" a little (compared to the huge front end) for a tadpole-ish look. I think I got there pretty good by sloping down at the end, as well as not having ground effects on the rear. This is Louis, the kind donor of the car. Louis is famous for counting dollar bills on the boot of his car... ... They say he also holds the world record for standing on the tallest stack of bills. Drophead Coupé: DUB Edition ... And when the car gets old, put it on blocks—of money :) Here's a reference pic with the same color scheme as mine.
