Why?
Anubis / Film Reel #19 - Mummification Chamber . . I built a pair of Anubis statues [my own rendition, hence the beards and lack of headdresses] because I've been wanting to build them for a while now. I wasn't really sure what to do with them, until I saw Tyler Clite's awesome Oasis Mech. Since I had the capabilites to do something like it, and he gave me the green light to go ahead and try one of my own, I made this. I used Lifelites for lighting and Windows Movie Maker for the editing [since that was the only software I have] - I only needed to splice some scenes and filter the images, though, so it worked. It's not as elaborate or as well-planned as Tyler's, but it sure was fun to make!
