Squidman's Joyride . When not engaged in serious felony or hiding out from the Space Police, Squidman likes nothing better than to hotwire a ride and go out cruising for Squid-ettes. It's just a pity that he's the only Squid-person in known space, eh? . It always seemed a bit rough to me that Squidman never got a proper vehicle (i.e. one that could accommodate his cape as well!) Not a problem once he'd picked up this beauty - and there's even enough storage space for his ill-gotten gains. In keeping with the whole 'spaceships that look like vehicles' aesthetic of a lot of the SP3 models, I was aiming to build something resembling a small but much-loved car, the futuristic equivalent of the Mini Cooper or VW Beetle. Those engines at the back were constantly falling off though. Apart from that, it coped pretty well with being swooshed about by my 3-year old. Front and underside views to round it off. The four hover outlets underneath keep the car in the air and enable it to turn on a sixpence - handy when you spot a Space Police checkpoint...
