Vizcaya Bridge . "Puente Vizcaya" Part of the World Heritage. . Vizcaya Bridge is the oldest hanging transporter bridge in the world. It was built in 1893 and designed by Alberto de Palacio, one of Gustave Eiffel's disciples. It is located near Bilbao (On the spanish north coast), and I have crossed it several times. (My wife is from Portu ;-) Scale is around 1:300. The towers are made with layered plates, which curves in two directions, to achieve the slim look. The hanging transporter fits nano-scale cars!
