Septenber 15th 1914: we have been in France for about a week now nothing intresting happening that was in till today when general Carnaby gathered us in his headquaters . "right men you we are starting a new offensive against the Germans the location Hennan ridge" "now are plan is simple the salfords which are you boys will attack up the ridge while the Aussies will attack where it begins theres no trenches on the ridge so you should take it quite easily there is a chateau which the Germans are using as there barracks which we can use as are forward HQ" "but sir thats crazy it will just be like the first outcome we might as well be bloody dead" "well Craig looks like your not ready yet not like these brave men who are willing to die for a cause" "your a right little b****** aren't you" 'he walked out' 'anouther good friend i made is called George always has a smile on his face even in battle' "one rifle for my good man" "cheers George,so what do you think of this attack" "well frankly i don't give a dam as long as we beat the Hun i don't care how" 'then are sarge came towards' "right boys were moving out"
