Space Shuttle with Satelite, Rocket Boosters and fuel tanks . . Some of you avid lego book readers might recognize this Space Shuttle from "The Unofficial Lego Builders Guide" and for the most part you would be right. I changed the design to open the payload doors and added the Rocket Boosters amd Fuel Tank. The whole overall design is to the proper scale of about 1:185. I threw in my own design for the red, white and blue rockets to give the model some character. The payload doors are open and the satelite has been let go. I used some 1x2 half arches and 2x4 half arches to get a close shape and to have enough room in the payload room. The satelite was made using 1x 1x1 w/ studs on all sides, 1x lever, 1x 1x1 cone brick, 2x 1x1 top grabbers, 2x 1x2 w/ handles, and 2x 1x2 grills. Very easy to build. Heres the side view of the the Shuttle and Rockets. The rockets bend mainly because of the weight and I haven't had great luck with inserting axles into the 2x2 cylinders, so if anyone has any luck please help me. T-minus 5 second 'til you're done reading 3... 2... 1...
