F37-B Osprey . Terran Confederation space superiority fighter . The F32-B is the Terran Confederation's most advanced fighter and one of its heaviest. While it is not as agile as the Falcon, it has a much larger operating range, much more durability due to its heavy shields and armor, and significantly higher firepower. Armed with an RPM SLT-530 heavy mass driver and a Hellfire VIII neutron projector under each wing, the Osprey is more than equipped to deal with any fighter or bomber it comes across. Its compliment of a dozen concussion torpedoes adds corvettes and transports to its potential targets. The oversized power plant allows the fitting of the heaviest shield generator found on Confederation fighter craft which contributes to its air of invincibility. This also allows the fighter's jump drive to be used more often increasing its effective range. This allows them to excel at hit and run missions. Unfortunately, the technology level of the F37-B results in its exceptionally high construction and maintenance costs. In the hands of skilled pilot, however, there is no finer star fighter.
