Suchimupanku Domo (Steampunk Domo) . He steamin'. . First off, the i in the name looks like a hard accent vowel with a horizontal line in place of the dot. Second, I usually frown upon the use of Brown and Reddish-Brown, and the Grays with the Bluish Grays, but I am making an acception when it comes to the Steampunk theme because it adds a lot of detail. Third, how cool is this guy? He is the third installment of the Domo Robots. Suchimupanku is Japanese for Steampunk (No lie.) and Domo is the name of the robot. This is the coolest guy so far. He contains 205 pieces and has a design based on both Domo and Han Domo so there are many familiar concepts. Front Hero pose. Left. Back. Right. Standing position. Flying mode. If he has propellars on the sides of his arms and legs, how is he propelled forward? It's a mystery; the Domos are amazing. The pieces used for attaching the steam stack are able to let the stack spin so it can blow in the right direction when he is flying. MOCing Domo's signature stance. "Who you callin' a rusty bucket of bolts?" Some weird pose I got him in. "I seez u." My favorite foot design. The look is great, he can keep balence, and at the correct angle, he can stand on his toes. There are even jet type things on the back that are kind of reminiscent of Han Domo. Detail gone into high gear: Grills, Tiles, Hinges, a 1 x 2 with a Handle on the Side, Chains, Gears, and the Weapon: a Pickaxe. This side has a machine gun with a wheel as amo storage. The Steam Stack. No deer can resist these headlights. He has an old car grill to give an effect that there is a furnace inside. I think I did a pretty good job for a first Steampunk MOC. As seen on YouTube:MCLB Review: Suchimupanku Domo This is my old creation entry for the First Official Purist Contest. Ratings and Comments would be much appreciated! In your comment, tell me which side should he be on: Good, Bad, or Neutral.
