Monster Tower . Yes, we have returned after an almost two month absence from MOC Pages! What’s that? You did not notice we were gone? Nice. Anyway, here we are with another tower, this one was originally slated to appear on Halloween, but as mentioned previously, we were in self-imposed exile. You will note that on the top level, good old Mister Bones has returned as well, along with a few friends, but more on that later. We really enjoyed this picture because if you look closely; you will notice that the camera actually captured the images of a few ghosts…..amazing! Let’s get started shall we? ***Bit of a warning, some rough language ahead, but nothing that warrants a PG block*** . Level one finds a familiar face swimming around, it is the Creature from the Black Lagoon! You all may remember him from a previous MOC, but he just would not leave, he just stayed around stinking of old fish, much like one of Phipson’s old prom dates. The Creature occupies the bottom level as it is underwater and we all know how much he likes a bit of the wet…..again, much like Phipson, but I digress. Level two is the dwelling place of the Phantom of the Opera and his skull organ. Now, we must give credit where credit is due, so the inspiration for this figure was from Miss Leda Kat’s very own Phantom MOC. You should all go check out Miss Kat’s early monster MOCs as they ar….where are you going? I didn’t mean you should go check them out now for cryin’ out loud! Wait until this one is over first! Now, our apologies for not sticking this in comic life, but we think Leda and Dennis Price have sort of already beat that horse to within an inch of its life. All right, let’s move on. Level three is home to the Mummy Imhotep. Imhotep has just arisen from his sarcophagus to bid you all a relatively fond howdy do. We will not linger long on this level as it is dustier than Heath’s seat at an AA meeting. Why is the Mummy grinning you ask? Well, he just had his physical from Doctor Lee Jones, you would smile too if you had visited the good doctor. Level four finds a relative unknown, the ghost of King Hamlet. What? You have never read Hamlet? Never seen Kenneth Branagh’s version? Jesus, turn off the computer and go find a life! NO!! Again, not right now, sweet Hades, wait til this is over first! Now where was I, oh yes, King Hamlet, so this is the ghost of said King waiting for his son, the tragic Prince Hamlet to appear on the battlements so he can relay his ghostly message of murder and revenge. The ghost of course, is a transparent, which always reminds us of Shifu’s jokes. Ah, an oldie, but a goodie on level five, Frankenstein’s Monster. Looks like the creature has returned to the lab from which he was made. He looks a bit sad and forlorn standing in darkness and silence, all alone….kind of like Matt David’s sense of humor. Moving on up, but not to the East side, only to level six where we see Dracula and his Daughter getting ready to head out for a bite. Wow, can’t believe I just said that, that joke was worse than Hansi’s haggis recipe. But seriously folks, the reunion of Count Dracula and his daughter was a very touching scene, and we do not mean like the touching scenes that Thomas Simon watches in the dark on weekends. On that note, let’s go see who is on the seventh level. Level seven! Another oldie but a goodie, it’s the WOLFMAN!!! Yes, old Talbot is back and ready to chase his tail harder than Mr.Xenomurphy at a family reunion! This poor creature looks like he had his make-up done by that hack artist Kelso….frame this indeed. Wolfie is hangin’ out in London this time, looking for a bit of British bird to munch. Hmmm, sounds like Stuart Delahay doesn’t it? Well, ready for the top level? Let’s go! Level eight, the top o’ the tower, the penthouse! No, Parrington, not that penthouse, calm down. Yes, looks like Mister Bones is having a drink with friend and family. There is Lydia Bones, Spooky Bones behind the bar, Grandpa Bones, and Bones’ good friend from school, Jack…..Jack O’ Lantern. Yeah, I went there, sue me. Up top is where Bones gets to lord it over all the other monsters, just like Yuri when he is “judging”. Bones would have been toasting you all a Happy Halloween if his lazy ass had actually posted this timely, but he was still trying to figure out the deep, deep meaning behind Gio’s “Pushy Jews”. How about some bonus shots? No, I am serious, bonus shots, sit your asses back down and pay attention! Here are some UV light shots, because, well….I am not that original ok? You want original, go look at Dave Kaleta’s page, or Moodswims……..oh wait, I said original, scratch Moody from that list. There is also an extra shot of the Phantom, with different light and one more of the penthouse. Last are two final shots of the tower in all of its relative glory…….sort of. Dem Notes: Yes, we are back, and I will need a bit of time to catch up on all the MOCs I have missed, so be patient. You may have noticed that we rather rudely insulted many builders in the commentary….so what? Don’t like it, then KISS MY A……Sorry about that folks, got a little carried away. Actually, all of the aforementioned builders whom we so rudely insulted are all good friends, or at least they were, not too sure they still will be after they read this. Now, if you were not mentioned above, well, consider yourself lucky. Long live the Innuendoers. Peace.
