Why?
Checkmate . It's a bad day on Charibdis IX, and especially bad for old man Reynolds, because he lost at chess too! My entry for the "Get Some Perspective!" Contest. . Sorry for the lame photoshop on the main picture, my camera couldn't focus on both the chessboard and foreground at the same time. It looks better in reality. Overview of the diorama. The forced perspective has 2 levels, the microcity and micro Covenant ship above it, and the chess set. Old man Reynolds, sitting at a table, with a giant chess set in the middle of a field and some very small buildings being glassed by a warship the size of a sailboat. Fun. The Chess set. I was going to make a full set, but I don't have enough 1x1 tiles, and I would have had to make the diorama way longer to get the forced perspective right. I think this abridged version is still nice. Main Street of Minitown. I'm quite pleased with how the buildings turned out. And finally, the Covenant microship. I didn't really base it off of any official ships. Thanks for viewing, let me know what you think!
