Why?
British Mk. 1 Universal Carrier (Bren Gun Carrier) . The Universal Carrier, or Bren Gun Carrier is a common name for a family of light armoured tracked vehicles produced between 1934 and 1960 and used by commonwealth forces during WWII. I'm using a new camera, so let me know how the quality is. Thanks! . I've tried to give the image that this beast has been geared up to the teeth. I think I've succeeded. The driver has sandbags placed around himself for extra cover. A close-up shot of the tread detail, which reveals the type of treads I used. They're probably at least 20 years old, and hard to work with. I've used newer technic gears, though the treads still don't actually work. Up on the front I strapped down a jerry can and rations box. I'm generally a "LEGO Purist", but I tend to use the occasional rubber band or two. Ah, the back equipment rack. This took some doing, but I like the results. I believe this is one common way men boarded the vehicle, too. Just some random boxes, a spare wheel, and shovel. And yet another rubber band. Alas, this last photo is quite blurry, but bear with me. It shows off my ammo crate and warhead designs (not copied, but I'm sure others have come up with them too). GT, OVER & OUT!
