The Siege of Aletor . The Orcs have made it to Castle Aletor. They have decided not to wait around and try to starve the castle's inhabitants but to attempt a frontal attack right away. Luckily the residents of the castle had ample warning of the impending attack and were able to construct defenses. . The Orc hoard charges the main gate ready to smash it down. The defenders are ready with rocks and arrows to try and drive back the Orcs. The Tops of the gatehouse towers are a very busy place. They are a great vantage point from which to fire from and see the battle. If one of the tower's combatants is injured they can be treated right away right here. A tree "Um... Uh... How are we supposed to get down?" The Dwarves are ready to attempt a sneak attack on the evil hoard. These pics are really bad but I liked them because they are the inside of the lower level of the tower. The flash on my camera was actually able to get inside even though the lens took up the entire doorway. The brave knight and his soldiers desperately try to hold back the Orcs and their battering ram. Cross bowman move to a different post while a soldier drops a rock onto the battering ram and its crew. A soldier hands out weapons to some peasants, everyone able to bear arms must fight. A veteran knight leads a column of troops along the causeway. These are the different levels of the towers. Each has 3 levels that can be lifted off.
