Why?
Untitled MOC Group in: Forced Perspective . "It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one." . 2011 MocAthalon! "Forced Perspective"Untitled MOC Group Our dear friend once again finds himself defending his fashion choice in front of the temple of the Greek God "See-Three-Pee-Oh", God of always-being-right-and-annoying. Essentially I was trying to use (2) minifigs & push one to look like a huge statue in as little depth as possible. I chose to do this by using the building to create the illusion rather than scaling the "acive" parts. For what it's worth I pushed the perspective line in the middle to "funnel" it a bit more. The 2 figs are only about 20 studs apart. While lost in translation, the whole floor tile decoration was done using the 2:5 ratio. This is more of a "typical" attempt at forced perspective where the subject tries to "hold" or "grab" something huge. Just a quick example of what switching the two figs looks like. IMO not as convincing but you get the idea.
