Heavy Wrecker-Alternative colour scheme. . . I've been meaning to change the look of the heavy wrecker for some time, in order to make it look less like a jazzed up 8285, which when you actually look at it, it shares little with other than details. The chassis and crane which were in red have now been completely rebuilt in black, and I've improved a few minor constructional details in the bonnet/second battery area. It doesn't look much, but took a few hours. I'm now in the process of rebuilding the factory 8285 in order to take some pictures of the two together, however then it's days are numbered. Unfortunately I don't have an endless budget and I need the parts from this truck to build the next. I have plans to start from scratch to build another even more complicated and even more detailed heavy wrecker.
