Ghetta Nui Self-MOC Wave: Matoran Style! . With all the Self-MOC requests that were flooding in, I either had to spend a ton of money on Bricklink, or make everyone in Matoran form. I think this was the better choice, especially considering the fact that everyone wants to be part of a gremlin army that is chasing down Cossy. Enjoy! . This is a ridiculously long post, so the captions are going to be quick. Bear with me, everyone. First off, we have every emotionally unstable Matoran's best friend: a quad! Driven by Destrin with Nitrex in the passenger seat. Woo Hoo! Without Destrin and Nitrex. Front view. Up next are the "Big Wheel" Matoran motortrikes. Driven by Cheesy Q and Zupharo. The Hero Factory armor was too irresistable not to use as seats. They are a little small, but still awesome. And what crazed mob of Matoran would be complete without a large, troop carrying, treaded... thing? Tailgate homeys. Gallitor on the turret. Oblivious at the wheel. Sans Matoran. Without the rear full of Matoran, the...thing? can hold the quad. The tailgate can lower to allow the quad to enter and exit. Destrin in Matoran form. Hey S.T.S., he's up. ;) That's right. Crossbow. The crossbow can be stored on Destrin's back when not in use. Gallitor and his mighty turret. Life is good for this guy. "What are you lookin' at?" Oblivious. Armed with an assault rifle complete with a drill-bayonet, Oblivious is truly a frightening little dude. I didn't have the proper mask, but I think the inverted mask I used works rather well. It's very knightly. Oblivious' gun can also be stored on his back. "Run, it's an evil mini-Makuta!" "Wait, I'm not... oh, never mind." Nitrex. Strong, faithful, and a total beast with a machine gun in each hand. I like how his backpack turned out. Dapok: The deadeye sniper with a chainsaw on his gun. Gears of war meets Ko-Ghetta. Nice. He's got you in his sights. Back storage. Baron Aridike. While not his normal, orange self, he makes up for it by having a gatling gun for an arm. "I have a gatling gun for an arm." Yes, we know that. Please don't kill anyone. Up next is Cheesy Q. One of the easier builds, but still fun. Cheesy is armed with a drum-magazine machine gun and a can-do attitude. I'm more afraid of the machine gun, but feel free to cower in fear of his confidence and charisma. More back-storing goodness. Alpha AI. One of the most fun builds here. One arm is a data pick, the other a large gun. Don't mess with the robots. Zupharo time! Zupharo is the only other Bionicle I've made that gets a grenade launcher. Solunus will be pleased. Back storage. Dalta's one of those next. I had to improvise a bit because I don't have the mask of time, but I think it turned out for the better. This guy is a beast. This is photoshopping material. I'm thinking a broken tank in the background, some smoke, and some 80's guitar solo playing. Toa Phosphorus! Except he's not a Toa, but a Matoran now. Still super tall. "Sigh. Cody, pay attention." "Can I ask you a question?" "Sure." "How the heck are you so tall?" "..." Matoran Z, the Matoran form of Zukon. He didn't actually ask me to make his Self-MOC, but I was on a roll. Poison-tipped bayonet. Good stuff. And a final back-storing shot. You bored of them yet? "Make it stop, make it stop, make it STTOOOPPP!!!" "Yee Haa!" Okay, so I'm glad that's over and done with. I'm not going to be taking any more requests (although if you build Solunus, I might consider returning the favor) for a while. I am moving on to bigger and better things, including Project Pokeworld, some MOCs for Lent, and possibly a titanized Owl the Owl. We'll see how those work out. Until next time, thanks for viewing! Credit goes to the original builders for their respective MOCs. I've spent too much time on this page to worry about links, and I should be saving Cossy from getting mobbed by a bunch of angry Self-MOCs who didn't get to be full sized. See ya!
