H-SMASM Jackrabbit . The High-Speed Mobile Assault Scout Mech was decommissioned in the confederate military after the discovery of power cell-fueled mech designs, making fuel-powered designs obsolete. this particular model was found in a junkyard by Samuel Griffith, who gave it a new paint job, fixed it up, and entered it in Mech Races under the name Jackrabbit. . This is the Jackrabbit. It is quite large compared to a minifig, but small compared to some other mechs.
yes it can fit a minifig, even if it is a little cramped. Hey, its a giant walking tank, it can afford to be a little cramped
Like an actual Jackrabbit the mech's feet can splay out for balance and speed.
For an extra boost, the Jackrabbit sports a pair of 1000 horsepower carbon boosting engines. This definitely gives the Jackrabbit a fighting chance in the races.
in case things get heated on the racetrack, Samuel installed a 3-inch explosive shell rifle on the bottom of the mech.
yes, the license plate is meant to be crooked, to emphasize the "junk" look
The Jackrabbit is actually pretty cute, being a rabbit and all.
The ears are posable, being able to bend up or down.
The Jackrabbit from the side.
The cockpit. As you can see, Sam has two levers to control the legs, and a targeting and control array.
The pilot and my SigFig, Samuel Griffith. He is a Mech Racer, and low on cash. His blast Helmet is a hand-me-down from his father, who was in the Confederate revolution.
So that's the Jackrabbit. It is my first mech, and I am very proud of it. It is posable and playable and I hope you liked it! Thanks for visiting, and be sure to check out my page!
