Why?
Pirates of the Caribbean: Arriving at Port Royal . Ian Spacek finally got me to watch the first Pirates of the Caribbean film. Ever since I saw the Pride and Prejudice remake (which I detested) I swore I would never see another movie with Kara Knightly in it. But then, an evil friend pointed out that she was in Star Wars ep. I, which I had seen since then. But just to annoy Ian, I still wouldn't watch Pirates (that doesn't mean I wasn't into the music, which I love). But then, my mom told me that I was going to Ian's to watch it. "Do you hear that Mr. Anderson? That is the sound of inevitability." Well, I was delightfully surprised. It was less dark than I expected it to be and, though I haven't yet seen the other two, I look forward to watching them soon. Thanks Ian! . "Who is that makeup-wearing freak?" He's a pirate! (Jack's theme lifts from the orchestra pit) Jack stepping off his sinking boat. This pic is a bit hazy, but I think the intense focus in the front looks cool. The wake of the boa- no, wait... Mast. The MOC un-figed. The figs un-MOCed. This is the porter. He is very confused. Please ignore the sweat. This is- wait... Jack, get back here! "No." YES! (Jack does his classic run) Jack's side with the compass. Jack's back. His vest is duct tape. Jack's other side with the sword. This is my full, custom, Lego, Jack Sparrow. He is no sparrow (although sometimes it seems he has a brain the size of a sparrow's, and sometimes he thinks he can fly like one) and he is not a slice of monterey jack cheese, but He's a pirate! Jack's face. Can anyone tell me what face I drew on? "You forgot one thing... I'm Captain Jack Sparrow." Thanks. BONUS 4/11/11: This creation was blogged on LegendBricks!
