Planet of the Squid . A world gone SQUID! . Most of my building starts off as tablescrap and sometimes evolves into something pretty cool or fun, but usually I deem it unworthy and tear it down. ...They can't all be winners. This build was no exception to that rule. 'Planet of the Squid' is the end result of a project that I briefly worked on as a concept of something much larger and a lot different than what you see here. I somehow made the connection between a large squidman head and the Statue of Liberty which eventually led us here. While this is certainly one of my favorite photos (I printed an 8x10), it is not my best building (though I am especially proud of the squidman head - which isn't entirely visible). I really just 'phoned this one in', this thing drew more attention than I ever figured it would or should have. There are other pieces in which I poured my heart and soul into, but this one stole the show. Thanks for visiting, feel free to comment or ask any questions! -Shaddix
