M42 Elk Medium Support Vehicle . Haulin' . The M42 is a 3-ton logistics truck designed as a replacement for the aging M35 series of trucks in 2016. It's cabin features several similarities to the GPMRV series of vehicles, however is much more spacious. It uses a manual transmission and fully heated seats (designed for comfort on long trips). As it was intended solely for logistical operations in fully secure areas, it's armor is not very mine resistant, but can withstand light small-arms fire. The M42 is powered by a 315 hp Diesel-Electric Frostbite engine, and is surprisingly fuel efficient. It is currently manufactured by Bombardier, and has only seen use by UFS forces. Somewhat based off of Evan Melick's truck design. however In the UFS, women are allowed to serve their country in combat roles, however many still choose to serve in support roles, such as logistics. The C42 is powered by a 315 hp Diesel-Electric Frostbite engine, and is surprisingly fuel efficient. The C42 has enough cargo space to supply a single platoon with enough ammunition and food to last 10 days in a combat zone. Thanks for looking!
