Sauron . Sauron. . Here is what was supposed to be a minifig scale Sauron from Lord of the Rings. At the beginning of the Fellowship of the Ring he was much taller than a human so I decided to try to make one in scale. He may have ended up a bit big - I can't call myself a LOTR expert at all so I'm not really sure. I used an elastic band to hold the mace in his hand, something that isn't in the MLCad version. I made him in MLCad because I had a couple people request instructions, but I did make him in real bricks too. The instructions can be seen here. I used this picture for the reference image, mostly. Thanks to Minifig Matt for doing the rendering and Bruce for helping with MLCad troubles as it was my first try ever with the program.
