Queen Anne's Revenge . Galleon . I did some modifications on the official set. What I am most proud of is the arched balcony on the stern, something typical for the ship but the set didn't have it. I suppose you probably have to own the set to have a full understanding of what changed as it looks a lot like the set. Nevertheless, I wouldn't post this if it were just some small modifications. I litterally built a new ship using the same parts and some extra. Queen Anne's Revenge is a cool set, lots of bones and skulls. I think there's too few dark brown in it considering the prefab hulls are darkbrown I think they should offer a decent amount of darkbrown bricks to enable you to use the hulls for some more detailed ships. Another thing that struck me is that there are only three cannons, I think it should have four atleast ! I did preserve 4 cannon ports on each side though. When I started rebuilding the hull I tried to infuse some elements of the Skull's Eye Schooner such as the sliding turntable cannons and the broadside reinforcements. I didn't succeed in the working rudder, partially because the new prefab hulls don't have those handy holes. The only thing I kept from the original set was the upper section of the stern. I lowered the cabins floor and added ladders. I also added a dack in front of the cabin. I did some changes on the bow as well, I tried something new for the headrailing and added some detail around the first mast. I hope you like it, I was going to keep a record of every extra piece I added to the set but I lost track of it, sorry. I don't have the brick capacity to build a QAR equal to my Black Pearl, besides, most of it would be a boring build as those two ships have identical hulls (QAR has some dark red painted on it) It would be great if I could just "copy" and "paste" my Black Pearl so I can rebuild one of them into the QAR. Another solution would be making my Pearl modular so I can easely change it to the QAR and back again but I wouldn't know what to do with the color difference on the side, the red zone :S
