COBRA Diamondback . Not from the original series, but I think it fits. . The Diamond back is an All-Terrain Attack Vehicle (ATAV) with multiple configurations depending on the scenario. It has a single driver, the Baroness in this case, who can control all weapon systems from inside the vehicle. To the left you see the dual 6 pack missile launcher. On the other side, is a heavy machine gun which can is usually operated by a gunner (rather than the driver), in this case a Crimson Guardsmen. Here is the missile launcher that slides into the back compartment of the Diamondback. It rotates 360 and the missile pods can elevate independently. It can be armed with anti-tank or SAMs or a mixture of both. Here we see a close up of the machine gun pod, which stores ammo below. There is a small support behind the gunner to add stability and a shield mounted on the gun for protection. It also rotates and elevates. Here you can see it without a weapons package in the back. In this variation, you could carry a couple of troops or supplies... or put a couple big-@$$ subwoofers and amps and crank tha bass (not really). Finally, I need to give most of the credit to Louis K because it is based heavily on his Alien Defender. I reworked the doors, back, under the hood and the front grill a little bit, but the back body is his. You can see his awesome (inspiring) work here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/272733 Go there and show him some love.
