//Operation Shock-Strike Phase 4, Avalanche// . My next insurrection mission. . Mission Log //PFC Yapdap// The others had retrieved the Wolverines we were ordered to get. It was my job to take out innie patrols. I was lucky to dive into some brush before the first patrol saw me. I readied my rifle and waited for them to pass my position. I took that time to observe them. The two on both the front and the back were wearing modified ODST armor, and carrying battle rifles. The one in the middle had a smaller firearm, and looked like a demolition specialist. They were walking slowly, and only on the path. It actually wasn't a path, more of a cut area. Once the first man reached a good position I fired. He fell firing a three round burst from his rifle into the air. The demo spec. didn't notice me, and was looking the opposite way. The other armored innie started to turn a bush, ready to neutralize a threat. I pulled my magnum sidearm, and quickly emptied a full clip into him. The other man came up, and fired many rounds at me, although they just pinged off of my armor. I jumped across a surprisingly sturdy plant, and fired into the barrel of my enemies gun. It exploded leaving no hand in its place. I then put him out of his misery and shot him. I kept walking until... I reached a rocky area where patrols would be more of a danger to the rhinos; they were just a short walk away. Another patrol came into view. There was an old man with a peg-leg (He probably didn't have the money to get a prosthetic), and a nervous man who kept looking side to side swinging his rifle. They were more suited to fight the marines, not a great soldier like me. I shot the old man first... And then took the nervous one out. Another two men who seemed to be of the same patrol came up. One was a man with a low caliber pistol, and the other... Had a helmet, and an SMG. Both of them notice the dead bodies, and started to advance on my hiding spot. I unsheathed my combat knife. what? An ODST can have some fun, right? When he came to the corner I stabbed him in the gut, policed his weapon, and left him to bleed to death. I started toward the other side of the rock. Then I rounded the corner, and shot him all over his body. I grabbed my sniper, and shot a few more patrols not worth mentioning. Join the insurrection group! --The Insurrection-- If you do you can make missions like this!
