#7422 Red Eagle Oversized. . This is only a tribute.... .
Do you remember that Orient expedition set #7422 Red Eagle? Pathetically small, but a great way to get a firearm. I revamped it!
A tribute to the old days, and how much TLC is improving.
Sorry I took so long to post this, but its finally here... A biplane! After making that Western Diorama, I had to go one step further.
Head on view. The Fig can see over the engine, don't worry.
Side view. I couldn't find a back wheel that fit with this scale, so I put those sticks instead. :P
Back View.
Other side view. I'm not actually certain why exactly I took this, since its pretty much symmetrical.
Top view.
The wing. I have no Idea why I put that there.... battle damage I think it was...
Windchield and Machine guns. Did you know that some of the old biplanes had their guns mounted BEHIND the propeller? The Gun was timed to shoot in between the gaps, and the propeller was covered in a thick sheet of metal.
You know me. I had to put machine guns. :P
Propeller. Do you think it is better with that circular plate?
As part of the tribute, I added many of the original pieces that came with the set. The Tail, windshield, propeller, and this 2x2 engine plate were some.
Side-back view, with no Fig. The original Steering wheel was another.

Yes, the first 2 Minifigs I ever got were two Sumos. No Elves, No Samurai, No Space Villians.... Just 2 Sumos. I learned a valuble Marketing tip around Minifigs.
