Why?
Jetfire G1 Transformer. . Here is my first attempt at a transformer - Jetfire G1. This is based on an early version made in 1984 by Ban Dai. It was discontinued due to legal copyright reasons (I think). I got inspiration from Chris Roach’s awesome transformer (legoformer) range. I used the original toy as a guide and therefore the transformation process is virtually exactly the same. It is fully transformable without removing any pieces. It is even more pose-able than the original toy. I have made a few alterations to the jet (adding rear wings) but the robot mode is pretty accurate. I am really pleased with the hands, landing gear and his head. This was one of my most difficult builds to date – even more challenging than my technic Bugatti. I think I have used pretty much every different type of hinge that Lego have produced. I hope you like him. . I hope you give him the Thumbs up ;)
