Umillu the Wise . My entry for Cossy and my MOC-off. The category is Revamp, where we take an old MOC of ours and make it infinitely better. Enjoy! . Name: Umillu Species: Matoran (Av-Matoran) Occupation: Toa, Judge, Ninja Element: Light, Shadow Mask: Kanohi Miru, Mask of Levitation Weapons: Twin swords Some mood music. Umillu was once a kind Matoran of Light who lived on Spherus Magna during it's late colonization era. He could always see the good in someone no matter how truly evil they were, and helped a great many Matoran get back on their feet after living criminal lives. One day, however, Umillu was meditating in the mountains when he came across the broken remains of one of Teridax's Rahkshi. Thinking that after all this time the Rahkshi posed no threat, Umillu approached it. The Kraata, however, was still alive and latched onto Umillu's face. His element fought with the Darkness, but such was the strain on his body that he was rendered unconscious. When he awoke, Turaga Takanuva was standing above him, chanting words of healing. Takanuva had stopped the spreading of Shadow in Umillu, but the damage on his body was so great that Takanuva had to use a Toa Stone simply to keep Umillu alive. Umillu was now at perfect neutrality, and was able to manipulate both Light and Shadow. After a few years of doing odd jobs such as saving villages from angry Rahi or other threats, Umillu heard of a new city called Ghetta Nui that was recruiting a team of Toa. Interested in seeing others of his kind, Umillu went to Ghetta Nui and became a member of the Toa Ghetta. For many years the Toa Ghetta protected and served Ghetta Nui, and even made it so safe a place that the Matoran began to take the Toa for granted. They ignored laws and regulations, turned against the Toa and turned against themselves. Gangs were formed, despite the Toa's protests, and turned the city into a giant slum where greed and evil ran rampant. One by one the Toa were killed by cunning Matoran plots. Soon, only Umillu and Solunus were left, and they went into hiding together. Unfortunately, two notorious gangs, The Dark Flame and The Grey Typhoon joined forces to root out and destroy the Toa. Umillu, a skilled stealth fighter, was able to cause enough confusion for Solunus to get away, but he fell victim to the Matoran. Solunus heard the dying cry of his Brother as he was escaping, and immediately halted. In a furious rage, Solunus returned to the battle and unleashed such a powerful surge of elemental power that much of The Dark Flame and all of The Grey Typhoon were completely obliterated. The few survivors scattered, leaving Solunus, drained of his powers, sobbing among the bodies of hundreds of Matoran and one legendary Toa. Arm design. I don't think I've seen anyone use Toa Mata feet for upper arms, but they work very well. Nice and beefy. Legs. The upper legs are meant to be somewhat thicker than the lower ones to mimick a ninja's pants and boots. Back. What's that on his back, you might ask? It's where he keeps his... Swords! They fit on his back quite nicely, I may even do a MOC review of him on YouTube to show off his cool features. Umillu was a cunning ninja, using both blinding light and absolute darkness to confuse his opponents. He would then use his Miru to silently approach his enemies without so much as a footfall to give away his position. His dual elements also gave him the capability to sense good and evil, and also the ability to see arguments from two sides. His fairness and knack for balance earned him the nickname of, "Magistrate of Ghetta Nui", and he settled many disputes between Matoran, Toa, and even warring Titans. Crazy ninja strike! Mysterious parting shot. He's good at those. Well, Cossy, here he is! Sorry for the delay on posting him. I must say, this has been one of the most intricate Toa I've made, second only to Solunus. I'm very proud of him, and I would like to thank Cossy for coming up with the revamp category. Otherwise, I would have been stuck with this as my only memory of one of my coolest characters to date. I hope the judges like him! Thanks for viewing, and let me know what you think!
