Coalition MT-19 . Open your eyes, see me cruising, I keep winning and these boiz keep loosing. . Good morning, afternoon, or evening, viewer. It's that time of year again! Yes, that's right, my annual summer COP tank. Y'all probably never noticed, but every year, I do one tank for the Coalition, and this year, I decided it was time to go all-out. And that's exactly what happened, many thanks to Ian MacDonald advising me along the whole building process.
The MT-19 is a newer vehicle. This one displays the colors of House Visetharis, who rule Ai-Kaion. Their colors are obviously red and blue. In battle, the flag is lowered (of course), but the stripes remain. Being one of the poorer planets in the Imperial Realm, Ai-Kaion's two claims to fame are hosting the Zyyan, and a lack of technology highly reminiscent of many Tarsin colonies after the Collapse of the old Coalition. Recently, an enterprising scion of the house has made great amounts of money on his own, and has completely modernized the regional forces. The MT-19s are a result.
A view.
A similar view.
Side.
Front.
And back, with boxes, blinkers, and a ladder.
Side details.
Front again. Now, in the past, I've always given my COP tanks interiors...
LT-6. This thing got 40 "I like it's" (anyone miss those 1-5 old smileys?), y'all better give this new tank it's due.
MT-14. You can see how my designs evolve, almost.
As you see, this interior is far better than the previous two...
Roof and treads removed. I'm very proud that I managed to carry on those little columns around the interior. Me gusta.
Turned the flash on, so you can see better. This is obviously the engine.
And there's the driver, forward gunner/radioman, and commander/turret operator. They've got some extra shells down here, just in case they run out. My favorite part is the HUD-like screen in front of the commander.
Clear, total view. My fingers look especially pink... Must be the heat. Thank Caupo I don't live in Texas or Georgia.
Look, a team effort! Infantry, artillery, cavalry, and armor.
Old versus new. Ai-Kaion never managed to do away with many old traditions, and motorized vehicles are rare.
This will only end in disaster. Perhaps I should give this guy his own MOC?
Side by side with artillery piece.
And there you have it folks, the MT-19. Not at all related to the PCU MT-series. What's next? I don't know, but I've been doing a lot of RFC: Europe, and I've got an urge to recreate some of my Renaissance misadventures...
