457th Corps: Leave Competition . Entries for the 3 week Corps Leave Competition held by the 457th Corps RPG on Flickr. . Corps Leave [Sub Competition] Mission Briefing: Welcome to your leave, soldiers! Your men have obviously shown perseverance and loyalty to the Grand Army of the Republic by fighting alongside your fellow comrades for an elongated period of nine months into the Clone Wars. To an extent, our advisors have noticed that such a prolonged period of continual violence may cause severe unrepairable damage to the thoughts and minds of the combatants themselves. Chancellor Palpatine has taken heed to this, and shown great concern over your self-consiousness after your great efforts have turned the side of the war in the Republic's favor. You, along with the squads in which you operate with, have been collected to participate in a leave of absence. The Republic has granted the Elite soldiers of the 457th Corps a gift of three weeks away from battle and the war. Our specialists have assembled a majority of six star systems which your troops have the choice to reside upon - serving as the most desirable vacation systems in the entire galaxy! Standing with many diverse environments ranging from the cloud cities of Bespin to the shore resorts of Glee Anselm, and even the great podraces hosted on Malastare, over the three week period you have been given the choice of a maximum of two systems which your squads may travel to over your leave of absence! Be sure to have fun on your break - this is exclusive and a gift the Chancellor rarely bestows upon his soldiers. Synopsis: The 457th Corps is being given a three week break from building their weekly missions. Although discussion will be strained, you are given an optional mission build to create over the course of the coming two weeks to keep our members actively building for the group. You are to create a small diorama symbolizing Republic propaganda over the period of time you are left on a figurative 'leave,' with your signature minifigure being the highlight and subject of your diorama. For example, a motivational or 'promotional' vacation poster could be given such as the suggestion below. More details, rules, suggestions, inspiration, and possible prizes are given as well. Competition Rules: Create a MOC showing your Sig-fig and his squad on holiday on a planet in the Star Wars universe. Depending on the size of the MOC it will be entered into the Vignette, Cutaway or Diorama Category. 2 entry limit per member. Greetings from Glee Anselm Category: 2 - Cutaway System: Glee Anselm Dimensions: 18x16 Ah, the beach. Whilst I relax here Ace, Hotshot and Kicker go diving- which I can't really stomach after Manaan, Kye and Rusty cook some Nuna leg and Spark turns out to be quite the ladies' man. We will all enjoy a few days of this and then it is off to Queyta. Unfortunately Snatcher couldn't be here- he was wounded badly on Nelvaan and needed to stay at the Medical Station. Roasting on Queyta Category: 1 - Vignette System: Queyta Dimensions: 10x10 We've arrived on Queyta and someone decided that the perfect thing to do was to roast marshmallows. Spark just threw the marshmallows into his mouth without cooking them and Hotshot burnt his. The only one who seemed to get it right was Kye and I am pretty sure it was his idea. I didn't remove my helmet because I got a terrible sunburn on Glee Anselm and everyone cracks-up when they see my skin. Pitty it happened after we went to an ice planet. The 457th Corps is a RPG based on Flickr and created by Justin Pyne. Credit for all mission briefs and ideas goes to him.
