Why?
Trapped In The Trash Compactor (complete) . After working on this for a month and a half (did anyone miss me?), I present the completed version of my Moodland-scale trapped in the tash compactor! Of course this is a famous scene from A New Hope that I finished the first half for A.C. Pin's Community Build over on the Eurobricks Forum. I literally had to tear apart every brown SW Lego vehicle i had (poor Sandcrawler) and order an additional $40 worth of brown bricks and tiles to build this, BUT I'm pretty happy with the results. Needless to say, I won't be building anything this scale with a background anytime soon. As always, please RATE and COMMENT:) . Like the Hasbro set this is based on, the 2 halves split to be reattached in a different position. This is the half i started with (anybody remember?). I changed the tiles from dark gray to brown and raised the walls a few bricks. Here are the halves attched differently. This orientation is more accurate to the scene in the movie but a little less dramatic IMO.
