Why?
Sports Car Remote Controlled . I wanted to build a sportscar that is a mix of the 8448 and 8070. See results below, hope you like it. This car's backwheels are powered with m-motor via 5 speedgear box (with 1 reverse), it can drive at differents speeds via this gearbox. I used m-motor for steering. Fun part is that the steering can be de-activated via switch so the car can be played manually (with gears in neutral). Is has 4 lights in the front, the chairs are adjustable in position. It has doors that can be opened same go's for the trunck and motorhood. . Frontside, it has 4 lights in the front Chairs are adustable in position. The chassis is based on the 8448 Battery in the front with the receiver Fake engine in the back, when in neutral the fake engine is still powered by rear wheel via a chain. The car can be played with in manual mode 5 speed GearBox drives the rear wheels. Gearbox details: Reverse -2.5:1 First 1.66:1 Second 1.5:1 Third 1:1 Fourth 0.9:1 Fifth 0.6:1 M-motor for steering, I added a switch to be able to steer also manual. It has doors that can be opened same go's for the trunck and motorhood. See also: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=60964 and: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=485738
